Sainik School

Sainik school that gives a brilliant career in defence ,was established in 1961 first time.

These schools are run with a joint venture of central and state governments under the governace of Sainik School Society, Ministry of Defence.

Age Eligibility​

  • For 6th Class – 10 to 12 Years {01 April 2012 to 31st March 2014
  • For 9th Class – 13 to 15 Years {1st April 2009 to 31st March 2011

Note:

  • Both boys and girls are eligible for 6th class.
  • Only boys are eligible for 9th class.

Rashtriya Military School (RMS)

Rashtriya military school (RMS) was established in  1946

The schools are category ‘A’ establishment of the Army and are administrated by the Directorate General of Military Training at IHQ of MOD(Army).

Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC)

RIMC (Rashtriya Indian Military College) is a military school for boys and girls situated in Doon Valley, Dehradun in India.

It was established in 1901 and its name was the Prince of Wales Royal Indian Military College at that time.

Note:

  • One exam is conducted in July and the other in January.
  • give admissions only to male candidates in the 8th class.

Born not earlier than 02nd July 2007 and not later than 01st July 2008.

NDA Syllabus

NDA written is divided into two papers namely Mathematics & General Abilities Test (GAT). The NDA 1, exam is to be conducted on 16th April’23 & NDA 2 exam will be held on 3rd September’23.

NDA Syllabus Pattern

The Mathematics exam has 120 questions of 300 marks & GAT will have English & GK of 200 & 400 marks respectively.
